Short description
Two fraternity pledges go to a sleazy bar in search of a stripper for their college friends, unaware it is occupied by vampires.

What's left behind the scenes

  • Throughout the entire film, Grace Jones (singer, actress, and model) does not utter a single word. This was her own decision, inspired by the example of Max Schreck, who played Count Orlok in Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau's classic horror film «Nosferatu, a Symphony of Horror» (1922).
  • The strange chair in Grace Jones's dance scene is shaped like a human, and a cast was made from Dolph Lundgren's body, whom she was dating at the time.
  • In reality, Billy Drago has dark hair. He lightened his hair and eyebrows specifically for the film's shooting.
  • When creating Katrina's makeup, the image of Pris, as performed by Daryl Hannah in Ridley Scott's 1982 science fiction film 'Blade Runner,' was used as a basis.
  • The film's budget was so meager that Grace Jones had to borrow costumes for her own character from acquaintances who were fashion designers.
  • In the scene where Grace Jones bites Robert Rusler's character on the neck, she went a little too far. Her prop teeth actually punctured her co-star's neck, drawing blood.
  • The chair for Grace Jones's dance scene was painted by artist Keith Haring.
