In one scene during the graduation, Rachel Lee Cook (who played Anna Sawyer) is shown hearing a cover of the song “Kiss Me” by Sixpence None the Richer and trying to remember where she’s heard the song before. This is a reference to Robert Iscove’s romantic comedy “She’s All That” (1998), in which Cook also starred and where “Kiss Me” played in its original version.
