Lucio Fulci consistently disassociated himself from this film in interviews.
Initially, this film was directed by one person – Lucio Fulci. However, due to a stroke, he had to leave the project, and producer Franco Gaudenzi hired assistant director Bruno Mattei and screenwriter Claudio Fragasso to complete the film. Of the 70-minute film by Fulci, they kept 50 minutes, and independently shot another 40 minutes of new material.
