Funding for the filming was raised through the crowdfunding platform IndieGoGo.
The entire cast decided at the last moment to cast aside their 'prejudices' for the main climactic scene.
Filming took place in Unionville, Ontario, where the pilot episode of Gilmore Girls was also shot.
