Short description
Two brothers start a sportswear company in the 1920s, hoping to make the best shoes in the world. Their relationship deteriorates until they become bitter rivals.
What's left behind the scenes
- Although the film is silent on the political views of the Dassler brothers (played by Ken Duken and Torben Liebricht) during the Nazi period, they officially became members of the NSDAP in 1933 and remained so until the end of the war.
- The rivalry between the brothers continued until the end of their lives. They were even buried at opposite ends of the cemetery in the town of Herzogenaurach.
