What's left behind the scenes
- Filming took place in the summer of 2021, and the first director's cut was completed in early 2022. However, the film was shelved for over two years due to constant interference from studio executives during post-production. Due to the high level of violence shown in the film, management insisted it be released as a blockbuster, and Tim Miller was hired to reshoot some scenes and film additional material. Steve Jablonsky was hired to write a new soundtrack, as the previous soundtrack by Nathan Barr no longer fit.
