- The school where scenes from “Easy A” were filmed is located in the town of Ojai, California.
- Olive and all members of her family are named after food items: Olive (English: Olive - olive), father - Dill (English: Dill - dill), mother - Rosemary (English: Rosemary - rosemary), brother - Chip (English: Chip - chips, french fries).
- The original script contained profanity – the word “f@ck” was used 41 times. Later, the script was rewritten, the profanity was removed, and the film received a PG-13 rating (children under 13 are only allowed to watch the film with their parents).
- To film this movie, Emma Stone turned down a role in Zack Snyder's 'Sucker Punch' (2011).
- It was assumed that this film would be the last for Amanda Bynes – she had previously decided to retire from acting.
