The school where scenes from “Easy A” were filmed is located in the town of Ojai, California.
Olive and all members of her family are named after food items: Olive (English: Olive - olive), father - Dill (English: Dill - dill), mother - Rosemary (English: Rosemary - rosemary), brother - Chip (English: Chip - chips, french fries).
The original script contained profanity – the word “f@ck” was used 41 times. Later, the script was rewritten, the profanity was removed, and the film received a PG-13 rating (children under 13 are only allowed to watch the film with their parents).
To film this movie, Emma Stone turned down a role in Zack Snyder's 'Sucker Punch' (2011).
It was assumed that this film would be the last for Amanda Bynes – she had previously decided to retire from acting.
Logan Lerman auditioned for the role that ultimately went to Dan Byrd.
The film was delivered to cinemas under the false title "Most Cities".
Almost the entire screenplay of the film, with the exception of the last ten pages, was written by screenwriter Burt Royal in just five days.
