Short description
Ever since US Diplomatic Security Service Agent Hobbs and lawless outcast Shaw first faced off, they just have traded smack talk and body blows. But when cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist Brixton's ruthless actions threaten the future of humanity, they join forces to defeat him.
What's left behind the scenes
- The film takes place two years after the events depicted in F. Gary Gray's action film "The Fate of the Furious" (2017).
- Deckard Shaw is two years older than his sister Hattie. In reality, Jason Statham is 21 years older than Vanessa Kirby.
- The exterior of the "Eteon" building was filmed at the McLaren Technology Centre, home to the McLaren Formula 1 racing team. The surrounding landscape was digitally added to the building's image using computer technology.
- The plot is set in London, but the car chase was mainly filmed in Glasgow, as well as at Universal Studios in Los Angeles.
- The scene near the Ukrainian nuclear power plant was filmed at a decommissioned nuclear power plant in Eggborough, North Yorkshire.
