- The film's original title was “The God Particle”.
- Midway through the film, several cubic meters of water are shown instantly turning into ice upon entering space. In reality, this is simply impossible. First, the water would have to become steam, and after some time, that steam would begin to crystallize, forming a cloud of ice crystals.
- When the team went to detach the ring from the station, they were affected by the force of gravity while in open space.
