What's left behind the scenes
- Red Digital Cinema paid for product placement of its Hydrogen One smartphone in the film, however, in November 2019, after filming was completed but several months before the film's release, due to poor sales, they chose to exit the business altogether. Covid restrictions delayed the film's release, which finally occurred in mid-2021, more than a year after that decision was made.
- On November 1, 2017, Tyrese Gibson announced that he would not be part of the film's cast if Dwayne Johnson were to appear, with whom he has a strained relationship. When Johnson publicly stated he would not be filming in the movie, the question of Gibson's participation was resolved.
- The enormous armored truck shown during the final chase in Tbilisi was called "Armored Carrier." It was over 4 meters tall, weighed 26 tons, and took 4 months to build.
