What's left behind the scenes

The first joint project of Ben Stiller and Adam Sandler in more than 20 years. Their previous film, Dennis Dugan's 'Billy Madison,' was released in 1996.
The house where the action takes place was filmed in three different locations. The interior was filmed on the Upper West Side in Manhattan, the basement studio – in Brooklyn, and the exterior of the house – in New York State.
The hospital scenes were filmed at the hospital in Sleepy Hollow, New York.
