• The new 'Annabelle' is already the fourth film in James Wan's horror cinematic universe and, chronologically, the very first film, preceding 'The Conjuring'.
• On the photograph from Romania that Sister Charlotte shows to Samuel, you can notice the demon nun Valak. Corin Hardy also filmed the horror film 'The Nun' in Romania.
• The Mullins and his wife's dollhouse is the Dolores house from the HBO television series 'Westworld' (2016).
• The doll that Annabelle, or rather Janice, holds at the end of the film has a noticeable resemblance to the 'real' Annabelle doll.
