Short description
Advertising executive Nick Marshall is as cocky as they come, but what happens to a chauvinistic guy when he can suddenly hear what women are thinking? Nick gets passed over for a promotion, but after an accident enables him to hear women's thoughts, he puts his newfound talent to work against Darcy, his new boss, who seems to be infatuated with him.

What's left behind the scenes

  • The scene where Nick presents his video to the Nike representatives featured actual employees of the company.
  • In Darcy's office, on her desk, is a photograph depicting Keira Knightley.
  • The final scene of the film, in which Nick comes home to Darcy, almost exactly replicates a similar episode from "As Good as It Gets," which also starred Helen Hunt in the lead female role.
  • Some moments in the film echo scenes from the comedy "As Good as It Gets" (1997). For example, the kissing scenes in the restaurant, the hero’s nighttime arrival to his beloved (played by Helen Hunt in both films), and their conversation on the stairs, as well as the actors’ miming during awkward pauses.
  • The first time Nick undergoes depilation, he rips a wax strip off his leg, which sticks to his fingers. After that, Nick takes pantyhose out of a box and begins to put them on, but in reality, he wouldn't be able to do that, because, as is well known, wax on the body clings to anything.
  • The film's final scene, in which Nick comes home to Darcy, almost exactly replicates a similar episode from "As Good as It Gets," which also starred Helen Hunt in the lead female role.
