Short description

- The original script did not include the participation of the military; director Lurie argued that artillery fire was capable of destroying an animal of any size. But the studio insisted on it, to increase the spectacle. Later, Lurie acquired a copy "for personal use" and re-edited it, cutting out all the scenes with the military.
