• The director spent 32 days filming the scene of the party at Gerardini’s house.
• The restoration of the film 'The Night' was carried out in 2024 by the Experimental Cinematography Center – National Cinematheque (Rome, Italy) in collaboration with the rights holder, Compass Film. The original image negative could not be found, so an intermediate positive copy was used for restoration, and the sound was restored from the original sound negative. The premiere of the 4K restoration took place at the 2024 Venice Film Festival as part of the 'Venice Classics' program.
