The original trailer and other promotional clips were voiced by well-known television host Jay Stewart, who at the time worked for Barry-Enright Productions, the company that produced the film.
In one of the opening scenes, after Phil observes Sylvia with binoculars, he flips through a fashion magazine featuring a partially nude model. This is Gia Carangi, a famous photographer and model of the 70s and 80s, whose story was the basis for the film 'Gia' (1998).
In many countries, the film was initially either completely banned or released in censored versions.
