• Director Denise Di Novi made Geoff Stults film in makeup. In addition, Stults had to constantly tan or endure additional makeup because he looked "too white" in scenes with Rosario Dawson.
• In the scene where Tessa is sitting at the computer looking at her wedding photos with David, wedding pictures of Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley were used (that's why the groom's face is not visible in any of the photos).
