Short description
The little witch is only 127 years old – too young for the annual coven of witches. Although she is not yet old enough to be a real witch she wants to become a really good one. This decision causes trouble inside her magic world.
What's left behind the scenes
- The film is based on German folklore concerning "Walpurgis Night." This is the night of April 30th to May 1st, when witches gather on Mount Brocken (also known as Blocksberg in folklore) to celebrate.
- The location of the sabbath in the film is not specified, but it is considered to be Brocken, or Blocksberg, the highest point in the Harz mountains (1141.1 meters) located in the state of Saxony-Anhalt in Germany.
