Short description

- Dwayne Johnson once asked his fans what character they would like to see him play – Shazam or Black Adam. The majority preferred Black Adam.
- Initially, it was assumed that Black Adam would appear in the fantasy action film "Shazam!" (David F. Sandberg), but later it was announced that a separate film would be made about him.
- Jordan Peele was initially offered to direct this film (in 2017), but he declined, saying he doesn't like superhero movies.
