- U2 frontman Bono voices a character named Clay Calloway, who is named in memory of jazz performer and dancer Cabell “Cab” Calloway III (1907-1994).
- The masks worn by those trying to disguise themselves, members of the group of the character voiced by Peter Serafinowicz, are masks of Snowball from the animated film “The Secret Life of Pets” (2016).
- The scene in which Scarlett Johansson’s character argues with the establishment owners, claiming she was underpaid, is based on real events. In 2021, Johansson engaged in a legal dispute with The Walt Disney Company, complaining that she was underpaid following the release of director Cate Shortland’s sci-fi action film “Black Widow” earlier that year.
