What's left behind the scenes
- "Becky Sharp" is officially considered the first color feature film.
- Several weeks after filming began, director Lowell Sherman (1885-1934) contracted pneumonia and died. Ruben Mamoulian (1897-1987), who replaced Sherman, discarded everything Sherman had already filmed and started shooting from scratch.
