The screenplay is based on Ilya Vasiliev's book "Alexander Pechersky: A Breakthrough into Immortality".
Representatives of the Alexander Pechersky Foundation, as well as the Pechersky family – his daughter Eleonora Grinevich and granddaughter Natalia Ladychenko – consulted on the film during shooting.
The main set piece was a Nazi death camp recreated in full accordance with the original blueprints.
