What's left behind the scenes
- In memory of the victims of the 2011 Tohoku earthquake in Japan, the distributor delayed the film's release. The film was released in Japan in March 2015 in only 4 cinemas, although a wide release across the country was originally planned.
- The Tangshan earthquake of July 28, 1976, measured 7.6 on the Richter scale. It occurred in the Tangshan area, an industrial center in Hebei Province. According to official figures, the immediate number of casualties reached 242,419 people, not including those injured and subsequently deceased.
