• Elizabeth Olsen flew to London to work on this film just two days after finishing filming on Matt Shakman's sci-fi action film "Wanda/Vision" (2021).
• Sam Raimi vowed never to make superhero films again after the failure of "Spider-Man 3: Enemy of Reflection." But Raimi's agent called him with an offer to work on this film, and the director became captivated by the idea, as the first film in the "Doctor Strange" franchise and the main character had made a lasting impression on him, and Raimi wanted to see if he could live up to public expectations.
• Benedict Wong broke several ribs while performing one of their stunts.
• Almost 40 minutes of footage was cut from the film during post-production.
• Benedict Cumberbatch grew a handlebar mustache specifically for filming instead of using a fake one, as he had done in previous films.

• America Chavez was originally intended to appear in John Watts’s superhero film “Spider-Man: No Way Home” (2021), when it was still assumed that this film would be released after “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” However, in 2021, the scripts were rewritten, and America Chavez’s cinematic debut took place in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.”
• In one of the scenes in the lobby, a sculptural image of a woman is shown in the background. This is Xena from the television series “Xena: Warrior Princess” (1995-2001), the screenplay for which was written by Sam Raimi, and which he also produced.
• In Wanda-838’s living room, a cartoon featuring Oswald the Lucky Rabbit is shown. Walt Disney (1901-1966) created this character in 1927, and when the rights to Oswald were transferred from him to the film company “Universal Pictures,” Disney invented Mickey Mouse, who soon surpassed Oswald in popularity. It appears that on Earth-838, Mickey Mouse was never invented, and all the popularity went to Oswald.
