What's left behind the scenes
- Johnny Knoxville preferred to perform all his stunts himself. Because of this, the actor was a regular patient at the trauma center throughout all 14 weeks of filming.
- During filming, Johnny Knoxville sustained the following injuries: four concussions, two orbital fractures (left eye), a broken arm, a damaged vertebral arch, two knocked-out teeth and one chipped tooth, multiple cuts, and a torn meniscus.
