Short description

A group of people gather in the California desert to watch a "film" set in the late 1990s featuring a sentient, homicidal car tire named Robert. The assembled crowd of onlookers watch as Robert becomes obsessed with a beautiful and mysterious woman and goes on a rampage through a desert town.

What's left behind the scenes

One of the onlookers was played by Daniel Quinn, the star of Pierre David's science fiction film "Scanner Cop" (1993). He played one of the scanners – people with abilities of telepathy and telekinesis, up to the point of exploding human heads. Shina possesses the same abilities here.
