What's left behind the scenes
- Both the film's director, Jonathan Levine, and the lead actors, Charlize Theron and Seth Rogen, said that as soon as Andy Serkis agreed to play Patrick Wembley, he himself came up with the makeup for his character (although he wasn't asked to), the application of which took several hours.
- The light blue retro-style sports jacket worn by Seth Rogen's character is an accessory of a Belgian sports club from the 1980s. The jacket has the inscription “Looise A.V.” on the back, which stands for “Looise Atletiek Vereniging.” The club was once sponsored by the now-defunct Belgian bank ASLK.
