What's left behind the scenes
- Fawad Khan was initially cast in the lead role, but due to the outbreak of the Indo-Pakistani territorial conflict, all Pakistani actors were removed from Indian films, and the role went to Sidharth Malhotra.
- Shah Rukh Khan was supposed to play the role of the detective, but he preferred to film in "Fan" and "Dilwale" instead.
- This is Akshay Khanna's fourth role as a detective, following his work in "Casino Chinatown '36", "Fury", and "Mom".
