Short description
Five friends from 'Maaskantje' are getting fired because of the economic crisis. They decide that they won't pay for anything anymore.
What's left behind the scenes
- Anthony Kamerling, a famous actor in the Netherlands, was a fan of the series that formed the basis of this film. He volunteered to star in the film, but took his own life before its release. At the request of his family, the only scene featuring him, which had been filmed, was included in the film.
- DJ Paul Elstak asked to be in the film and requested permission to write a song for it, as he was an idol of the main characters. He even regrew his famous mustache, which he wore in the 1990s.
