Short description
A teenage fugitive with an incredible secret races to stay one step ahead of the mysterious forces seeking destroy him in this sci-fi action thriller. With three dead and one on the run, the race to find the elusive Number Four begins. Outwardly normal teen John Smith never gets too comfortable in the same identity, and along with his guardian, Henri, he is constantly moving from town to town. What's left behind the scenes
- The film is based on the novel “I Am Number Four” (2010) by Pittacus Lore (a pseudonym for two authors – James Frey and Joby Hughes).
- Charlton Copely was supposed to play Henry, but he left the project due to disagreements with the creators.
- Therese Palmer, who was cast as the trained alien warrior Number Six, had to train for several months to match her character. During this time, she even learned to ride a Ducati motorcycle.
- The actors playing the Mogadorian aliens filmed in shoes with a 15-centimeter sole, which made their gait unhurried and significant.
- Filming took place in Morrisville, a suburb of Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania), where Franklin Regional High School was decorated to resemble a futuristic college.
