• Jack Dylan Grazer began recording the voice of Barney in 2017, at the age of 13, and finished in 2021, at the age of 18. According to Grazer, maintaining the voice of a teenager over time became difficult.
• Zach Galifianakis was instructed to deliver the lines of a robot named Ron in a voice devoid of any emotion, so that the audience would correctly understand that the speech was generated by computer algorithms. According to the actor, this was very unusual, as directors had never asked him to express as little emotion as possible.
