Short description

What's left behind the scenes
- Sir Ranulph Fiennes (the 3rd Baronet Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes) is a British explorer, adventurer, veteran of the Special Air Service (SAS), and the author of the 1991 novel The Feather Men, which served as the literary basis for this adaptation. He has repeatedly claimed that the film is based on real events, however, the families of SAS officers who died during training exercises, and the SAS itself, have repeatedly refuted this claim.
- When Danny escapes from the hospital in a car, he hits another car with the left rear headlight during a turn, causing the headlight to fall off. Literally a couple of minutes later, Danny is driving the same car, but all the headlights are in place.
- Filming began on May 10, 2010.
