Short description
A young country girl comes to town and works in a brothel in order to help her fiance get the money to start his own business. "Paprika" is the name given to her by the madam.
What's left behind the scenes
- Initially, Tinto Brass planned to simply adapt John Cleland's scandalous novel for its time, "Fanny Hill: Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure" (1709-1789), but after struggling for several years, he rewrote the script and moved the action to 1950s Italy. However, the film conveys Cleland's book more accurately than many other adaptations.
