When Justin Timberlake's character shows Mila Kunis's character the ocean, a superyacht belonging to Russian billionaire Andrey Melnichenko can be seen in the background.
In the scene where Mila Kunis appears nude (view from the back), the actress used a body double.
At the airport, the main character picks up a sign with the name O. Pendergast. That was the name of the main character in 'Easy A,' a role played by Emma Stone, who also has a small role in this film.
At the very end of the film, after the end credits, outtakes featuring Jason Siegel and Rashida Jones are shown.
When Mila Kunis changes clothes in the back of a taxi, the taxi driver says something, but the filmmakers felt his speech didn't sound like that of a real New York taxi driver. Therefore, they decided to ask the actress's father, Marko Kunis, to dub the taxi driver's lines. Marko Kunis did indeed work as a taxi driver when he first arrived in the US, and he still retains a Ukrainian accent.
