- The romanticized story of Carlos Robledo Puch, an Argentine serial killer nicknamed "Angel of Death" by the press for his angelic appearance. The young man was arrested in 1972 at the age of 20 for 11 murders and over 40 robberies.
- Puch spent more than 45 years in prison – longer than any other prisoner in Argentina.
- In 1972, the longest possible prison sentence under Argentine law was life imprisonment with mandatory parole after 45 years. However, the atrocities committed by Carlos Robledo Puch were such that legislation was specifically amended for him, so that Puch would not be released until at least one of his victims’ parents was still alive.
