Short description
A man awakens in a car wreck at the bottom of a steep cliff. He can't remember who he is or how he got there, but a report over the radio fills in some of the blanks, as it describes a violent bank robbery and names a perpetrator who happens to be sitting dead in the back seat.
What's left behind the scenes
- To get into the role of his character and truly experience his situation, Adrian Brody spent a winter night alone in the forest next to a broken-down car. The other actors and crew members preferred to return to the hotel.
- Adrian Brody performed all the stunts himself, including rafting down the river in icy water. The scene had to be reshot several times, but the actor refused to use a stunt double.
- Adrian Brody's character hears a bank robbery report on the car radio. Brody himself read the report.
- It took 18 days to film the movie. Scenes were filmed strictly in the order they appear in the film.
- The wrecked car was placed on a slope – and removed by helicopter when filming was complete.
- Adrien Brody actually ate several insects and a worm in front of the camera.
