What's left behind the scenes
- After the shootout at the veterinarian's, white doves begin to fly around the room. This is a reference to John Woo's films, which often show white doves during or just before action scenes.
- For filming the sci-fi action film “Eternals” (2021) by Chloé Zhao, which ran concurrently with filming Michael Dowse’s action film (2019), Kumail Nanjiani, who played Stu, gained over 11 kg of muscle mass. This didn’t quite suit him in the role of Stu, but the costume designers selected a wardrobe that concealed the actor’s physique.
