- One of the main roles in the film was specifically written with Benoît Pulvorde in mind. Having heard about this, the Belgian actor met with the director, read the script, and immediately accepted the offer.
- Benoît Pulvorde agreed to attend the film's premiere out of respect for Danny Boon. Before this, the Belgian actor had refused to watch films featuring himself for six years.
