• The film contains references to Robert Zemeckis’ “Back to the Future” franchise (1985, 1989, 1990) and plot elements and set design similar to those from the trilogy – the clock tower, lightning strikes, clothing, etc.
• In one scene, Nico shows euro banknotes. This is impossible, as the euro was not introduced in Spain until 2002, while the scene takes place on the day the Berlin Wall fell, November 9, 1989.
• The events the film depicts took place between 1989 and 2014. However, when Vera returns home in an alternate reality, a 2017 calendar is hanging on the wall.
