Short description
A brilliant toy company roboticist uses artificial intelligence to develop M3GAN, a life-like doll programmed to emotionally bond with her newly orphaned niece. But when the doll's programming works too well, she becomes overprotective of her new friend with terrifying results.
What's left behind the scenes
- The film was initially aiming for an R rating, but during editing it was noticed that it wasn't significantly different from PG-13 rated films. Some scenes were reshot to reduce the level of violence.
- M3GAN stands for 'Android 3 Model'.
