Short description
A lonely boy discovers a mysterious egg that hatches a sea creature of Scottish legend.
What's left behind the scenes
- The egg from which Crusoe hatched was made of plasticine, and then an entire team collected fragments of shells and corals on the beach to glue onto it.
- While filming the scene with the boot, Alex Ethel pulled the Crusoe doll so hard that its head came off.
- At the 25-minute mark, as the captain drives up to the lake, a Russian flag is clearly visible on the car – a flag that was adopted in 1993, which is much later than the events depicted in the film.
