What's left behind the scenes

  • The plot is based on a true story that took place at the Miss World contest in London in 1970.
  • Despite what is shown in the film, in reality the perpetrators intended to start protests when the Miss World candidates were on stage. However, they changed their plans due to Bob Hope's misogynistic jokes and began throwing 'flour bombs' at that very moment.
