Short description
The story of best friends Barb and Star, who leave their small midwestern town for the first time to go on vacation in Vista Del Mar, Florida, where they soon find themselves tangled up in adventure, love, and a villain’s evil plot to kill everyone in town.
What's left behind the scenes
- Fritz Gordon played the concierge Gary. As a rule, daytime temperatures approached 40 degrees Celsius, so the actor was literally drenched in sweat in his three-piece suit. As a result, they decided to wet the entire suit so that sweat stains would no longer be visible on it.
- The water scene towards the end of the film was shot in the open sea, not in a pool or a water-filled tank.
- During the action scene with Barb, played by Annie Mumolo, alligators were in the water with the actress. She learned this from director Josh Greenbaum only after filming was completed.
