What's left behind the scenes
- It took the creative team of the Indian remake of Robert Zemeckis’s film “Forrest Gump” (1994) eight years to acquire the rights to it. Aamir Khan played the main role in the film and was also one of the producers. Khan was the one who turned to Steven Spielberg to put in a good word with Zemeckis in support of creating an Indian remake.
- Around one hundred locations worldwide were used for filming the movie, including India and Turkey.
