Short description
Alice and Jack are lucky to be living in the idealized community of Victory, the experimental company town housing the men who work for the top-secret Victory Project and their families. But when cracks in their idyllic life begin to appear, exposing flashes of something much more sinister lurking beneath the attractive façade, Alice can’t help questioning exactly what they’re doing in Victory, and why.

What's left behind the scenes

  • Olivia Wilde initially wanted to cast Harry Styles in the lead male role, but he was on a world tour. When the tour was interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic, and LaBeouf was fired, Styles agreed to join the project.
  • Initially, Olivia Wilde considered playing the main character herself, but after seeing Florence Pugh in “Midsommar,” she decided to give her the role.
  • Instead of Dakota Johnson, who left the film's cast due to commitments to filming the drama “The Daughter,” the role went to Kiki Layne.
  • The film shows Frank, the head of the secret "Victory" project, living in the so-called "Kaufmann House," which has been featured in a wide variety of television and film projects over the years (it was built in 1946) – especially its exterior. This film shows the "Kaufmann House" from the inside.
