What's left behind the scenes
- There was no fight scene in the original script. During auditions, Woody Norman, in conversation with Joaquin Phoenix, mentioned how they jokingly wrestled with his brother. Phoenix suggested trying it out, and the scene was decided to be included in the film. Phoenix later called it his favorite scene.
