Short description

What's left behind the scenes
- The film is based on Thierry Jonquet's novel “The Tarantula, or Skin I Live In” (Mygale, 1995).
- Director Pedro Almodóvar's initial choice for the role of Vera was Penélope Cruz, who had previously worked with him. The actress, who initially agreed, ultimately appeared in the fourth installment of "Pirates of the Caribbean" and was replaced by Elena Anaya.
- Filming took place in the cities of Santiago de Compostela, Madrid, La Estrada, and the surroundings of Toledo.
