Short description
29 years since the Black Flame Candle was last lit, the 17th-century Sanderson sisters are resurrected, and they are looking for revenge. Now it's up to three high school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow's Eve.
What's left behind the scenes
- In the original film, Mary's mouth is twisted to the right, but here it’s to the left. According to Cathy Najimy, she now finds it difficult to twist her mouth to the right. The film explains this by stating that she was hit on the cheek, causing the twist to shift to the other side.
- Filming in Salem ran behind schedule, but local businesses still permitted the use of their names in subsequent shots. For example, one store displays a sign reading "The Salem Plant Witch."
