On the 91st minute, the German reports to the captain on the readiness of the mortar crews. He says in German "Herr Hauptmann," which means "Mr. Captain," but in the Russian translation it sounds like "Mr. Officer."
Veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Fedor Ivanovich Biryukov, participated in the filming of the video. He was the first soldier to see the new memorial near Rzhev in 2020 in person.
The music featured in the video was composed by Eduard Artemyev for Nikita Mikhalkov's debut film, "A Calm Day at the End of the War" in 1970. The film is the first collaborative work of the renowned director and composer.
